A events company in the South of Johannesburg is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous extensive kitchen experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively . Head Office situated in the South of Johannesburg (Turffontein), near Turffontein race-course.
- High school diploma
- 3+ years’ culinary experience
- Previous kitchen experience as a Sous chef
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
- Certification preferred
